Course Details

During the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will learn:
  • Total Dives: 5 Open water training dives

  • Maximum Depth: Up to 30 meters (as per SSI standards)

Course Structure

Step 1 – Digital Learning

Access SSI’s digital learning materials to understand dive planning, safety procedures, and specialty concepts.

Step 2 – Specialty Dives
Complete 5 different adventure dives from SSI specialty programs such as:

  • Deep Diving

  • Navigation

  • Perfect Buoyancy

  • Night & Limited Visibility

  • Wreck Diving, and many more specialities to choose from

Step 3 – Instructor-Led Training

Each dive is conducted under direct supervision of an SSI Professional.

Where Does It Happen?

SSI Advanced Open water Diver Course sessions take place in open water and does not require any pool session unless student requires one... This course is designed for experienced divers looking to expand their skills in open water environments.

Pre-requisites & Eligibility

  • Minimum age: 12 years

  • SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent

  • Comfort in water and prior open water diving experience

  • Completed SSI Medical Questionnaire mandatory

SSI may require medical clearance for certain conditions.
