Course Structure

Digital Learning (MySSI App)
  • Complete the SSI Navigation digital learning program at your own pace through the MySSI app. Study navigation theory, compass use, and underwater orientation techniques.

Optional Pool/Skill Session
  • Practice compass navigation and basic navigation patterns in a controlled pool environment. Perfect your skills before open water training.

Open Water Training Dives
  • Complete 2 open water training dives applying navigation techniques in real dive conditions. Navigate using compass, natural references, and advanced patterns.
