How the Course Runs:
Step 1 – SSI Digital Learning
Start with online modules covering shark biology, ecology, behavior patterns, identification, and conservation principles.
Step 2 – Knowledge Application
Interactive discussions with an SSI instructor to reinforce understanding.
Step 3 –Confined Water Practice
Reinforce buoyancy and comfort skills (if required).
Step 4 - Open Water Sessions:
Practical learning dives where you observe aquatic life, including shark behavior in natural settings (subject to location and conditions).
Step 5 - Debrief & Review:
Wrap-up sessions with instructors to consolidate knowledge.
NOTE:
Although the main focus is ecological learning and open water observations, this course may include practice sessions in local confined water (pool) to sharpen buoyancy and observation skills before heading out to open dives.
