DIVE TRIP ANSWERS

No. Silverfin Scuba offers dive trips for non-divers, beginners, and certified divers. First-timers can participate through Try Scuba programs, while certified divers enjoy fun dives and advanced experiences depending on the destination.
Which dive trip is best for beginners?
The Andaman Islands and Vizag weekend trips are ideal for beginners due to calm conditions, shallow dive sites, and excellent visibility. Maldives liveaboard trips are recommended for certified and experienced divers.
Is scuba diving safe during these trips?
Yes. All dive trips are conducted under SSI international safety standards and led by certified dive professionals. Pre-dive briefings, skill checks, emergency protocols, and surface support are part of every trip.
Is scuba diving equipment provided during the trip?
Yes. Standard scuba diving equipment is provided as part of the dive package. Certified divers may bring personal gear if preferred. Equipment is maintained and checked as per SSI guidelines.
Do I need dive insurance to join a dive trip?
Dive insurance is strongly recommended, especially for international trips like Maldives, Red Sea and other destinations. Silverfin Scuba provides DAN or DiveAssure dive insurance before travel through our travel company VCD.
What medical fitness is required for scuba diving?
All participants must be in good general health. Before diving, you will complete a standard SSI medical questionnaire. Certain conditions (asthma, heart issues, recent surgeries, etc.) may require medical clearance from a physician before participation.
What is the minimum and maximum age for scuba diving?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
