What Is SSI Try Scuba?

This session is ideal for first-timers, families, and adventure seekers aged 10 and above.
Course Overview
The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving, Obviously, you don’t see any fish this way, but it is a great way to get a taste of diving and the feeling of being weightless in the water.. At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and undoubtedly want to go diving again.

Course Structure
Short session on breathing, signals & safety Provide a detailed explanation on the importance of proper breathing techniques in maintaining safety during the session.
Practical skills in a pool or shallow water Practice your swimming strokes in a controlled water environment
Supervised underwater experience with instructor The instructor will guide participants through a supervised underwater experience
Where Does It Happen?
Most Try Scuba sessions take place in a confined water setting such as a swimming pool in (Hyderabad) or protected shallow bay, ensuring maximum safety and comfort. In select locations with appropriate conditions, short supervised sessions in shallow open water may also be offered.
Pre-requisites & Minimum Age
Age: Minimum 10 years (8 and 9 year old kids can also try the program but are not eligible for diving outside of the pool environment or continuing into a certification program)
Fitness: Generally healthy & comfortable in water
Certification : No Certification Needed
This is all-inclusive and covers orientation, skills practice and gear rental. A part of this fee can also be credited towards a certification program with us.
